....And The Tribute Goes To Lady GaGa
This faux queen ain’t been around for a hot minute, and already Lady GaGa is being given tribute status by the legendary Heklina. It was not that long ago that the GaGa was a performer on the stage of the now defunct Trannyshack drag show. A mere two years later we are worshipping her every musical note. This Friday, February 5, Heklina pays tribute to the pop/dance phenom with a drag extravaganza and look-a-like contest at Deco Lounge. Broken down into two shows and contest in the middle starting at 11pm, schedule performers are Pollo Del Mar, Holly McGrail, Matthew Martin, Turleen, Becky Motorlodge, Sandra O’Noshedidnt, Charisma Glitteratti, Cookie Dough, and more. Also a fundraiser, you can help send some queens with Heklina to the annual Trannyshack Hawaii show by purchasing raffle tixkets and buying jello shots. After picking up a couple of Grammys over the weekend, may be she an mosey up to San Francisco and accept her tribute like a true queen, right? I wouldn’t be surprised. GaGa loves her gays.

It Doesn’t Get Any More Legendary
Truly.....with 50 years of show biz, Dionne Warwick has made hit record after hit record to be one of the most successful recording artist of all-time. And we get a chance to see her perform live (trust me she still has it) in the gayborhood of San Francisco at the Castro Theater on Saturday, February 6. As apart of the Rrazz Room Concert Series, Ms. Warwick will waltz her through her hits including Do You Know The Way To San Jose, I’ll Never Love This Way Again, That’s What Friends Are For, I Say A Little Prayer For You, and many, many more. Dionne stays committed to her fight against AIDS stating in a recent interview with me, "I will continue to fight against AIDS until it is COMPLETELY gone." Now, that’s a legendary statement.
