Thousands of travelers from around the world are expected to arrive in Israel for the annual Pride Festivals taking place in Eilat (May 15-17) and Tel Aviv (June 8-14).

The 13th annual Eilat Pride Festival will feature a one-off performance by British pop legend Boy George, alongside international DJs at the "Temptation" party on Dekel Beach on May 15, as well as a weekend of outdoor activities and parties throughout the city's beaches and parks.

Following last year's record-breaking number of 100,000 attendants, the 17th annual Tel Aviv Pride Festival will include a week-long lineup of international dance, music and art performances, beach parties and events throughout the city, and conclude with a massive parade and beach party at Gordon-Frishman Beach on June 13. Tel Aviv has been consistently listed amongst the world's "Best Gay Cities" by GayCities and ranked by Business Insider as the #2 "Best Gay Honeymoon Destination" in the world in 2013.

"We are thrilled to host the upcoming Pride festivals in Tel Aviv and Eilat, which are expected to draw tens of thousands of travelers to Israel," said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America. "The festivals are a symbol of Israel's openness for travelers of all tastes and interests."
